Does your pet step in their own poo? Think about what you or your pet may have carried into your home! By not picking up and properly disposing of poo, you are putting others at risk for exposure.

*Water sources, whether rain or a sprinkler system, contain the power to spread the harmful diseases and bacteria hiding in your pet's waste.

*You can do your part to protect others by making sure your pet's waste is removed and disposed of. Here are some steps to ensure everyone's safety:

1.) Always use gloves or a poop scooping tool to pick up waste.
2.) Wash your hands with an antibacterial soap promtly after removing pet waste.
3.) Use a bag that contains no holes or tears. Don't want to find the bag empty when you reach the trash can, oops!
4.) If needed, check your pets feet before they enter the home to make sure they didn't accidently back into or step in their own or someone else's pets waste.
5.) Please make sure your pet's waste bag doesn't make it in a storm drain or near any water areas.
